What is Frenzy?
Last updated on 2026-03-15
Frenzy is a social discovery app built to help you find people around you and hang out IRL. Instead of endless swiping, Frenzy focuses on nearby discovery and real plans with real people.
What you can do on Frenzy
With Frenzy, you can:
- Discover people nearby
- Browse profiles and get a sense of who is around you
- Rate friends and people you see or meet
- Share real-time posts from your camera — no gallery uploads, filters, or effects
- Message people and start conversations
- Turn chats into plans in real life
How nearby discovery works
Frenzy uses your approximate location while you are using the app. That helps show people around you without needing continuous background location access.
Location is used to make discovery relevant. Other people do not get a live map of your exact position as a core part of using Frenzy.
Who Frenzy is for
Frenzy is for people who want to meet others nearby — friends, classmates, coworkers, neighbors, or people you keep seeing around. It is not designed as a dating-only app.
Where to get Frenzy
Frenzy is available on iOS and Android. Download it from the App Store or Google Play, create an account with Apple or Google, and set up your profile to get started.
