How does Frenzy work?

Frenzy helps you discover people around you and interact in ways that lead to real-life hangouts.

Nearby people, while you use the app

Frenzy uses your approximate location while the app is open to show people nearby who are also using Frenzy.

Frenzy does not require continuous background location access for nearby discovery. You can change location permissions later in your device settings.

Explore profiles and interact

In Frenzy, you can:

Browse people nearby.
Open profiles to learn more.
Rate friends and people around you.
Poke someone as a light nudge from their profile.
Share real-time posts taken with your camera — not old gallery photos, and without filters or effects.
Message people and start conversations.

Posts appear on your profile for people who can visit it. If your discovery filters are set to only certain people — for example only women — then only those people can visit your profile and see your posts.

How you connect with someone is up to you. Frenzy is built for social discovery and hanging out IRL, not for endless swiping.

Premium access

Some experiences may be available through Frenzy Premium. Pricing, trial offers, and Premium benefits can vary by country, platform, or current offer. You can always review the details in the app before confirming a purchase.

Privacy basics

Frenzy is designed to use location in a limited way: approximate location while you are using the app, so nearby discovery can work. For more detail, see the location and privacy articles in the Help Center.
